Color of the Day: Amber

Color magic uses various hues to influence energy. Amber is a bright, warm color that is midway between yellow and orange. The color amber is often associated with energy, warmth, radiance, confidence, vitality, safety, and a sense of well-being.

If you choose, wear amber-colored clothing today and/or amber jewelry. Wearing amber is thought to offer protection – especially to children – and is a potent amulet against negative energies.

Incense of the Day: Heliotrope

Magical properties of heliotrope include exorcism, prophetic dreams, healing, wealth, and invisibility.

Heliotrope is used in exorcism incenses and mixtures, and in healing sachets. Placed beneath a pillow, it can induce prophetic dreams. It’s also believed that to carry or wear a small horn filled with heliotrope will render you “invisible” – your movements and actions won’t attract attention.

The energy of the day supports making yourself “invisible” to negative energy, protecting your thoughts, and increasing your sense of confidence and well-being.

Daily Magic Idea: Light a white candle and place it on the floor. Light some heliotrope incense nearby. Sit before the candle and make a circle around yourself and the candle with a small handful of amber beads. Sit within the circle and visualize yourself being closed off to any and all outside influence. Restore your own energy. Repeat as often as needed.

*If you don’t have access to amber beads, use an amber-colored cord to make your circle, or simply visualize an amber circle surrounding you and protecting you from negative energy.

Moon of the Day: Waning Sagittarius to Capricorn
